Here at Aspire People we support over 80 SEND schools and PRU's across Manchester, and we are looking for skilled SEND Teaching Assistants to join our agency for full time, long term work, or day to day supply.
Whether you're seeking regular bookings or occasional days to fit around other commitments, we can offer a variety of placements that suit your availability and experience.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant working on a supply basis, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs across specialist schools and/or PRU's. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* Providing 1:1 or small-group support to students with diverse SEND needs.
* Assisting with differentiated and personalised learning strategies.
* Helping to maintain an inclusive, safe and supportive environment.
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Working collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers and support teams.
Assignments can vary from single-day bookings to longer-term placements, giving you the flexibility and variety many educators love.
About You
To join our SEND support pool, you should:
* Have experience working with SEND students within a school or education setting.
* Understand a range of needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.
* Be patient, adaptable and confident working in different school environments.
* Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Applicants without school-based experience cannot be considered at this time.
