SEND Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, RugbyAre you passionate about helping young people reach their potential? We're looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school team. In this role, you'll support students with Autism and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), helping them grow academically, socially, and personally.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support secondary-age pupils with Autism and PMLD in class and through one-to-one sessions.
Assist in creating engaging, personalised learning activities that inspire and motivate.
Encourage positive behaviour, social interaction, and independence.
Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to meet individual needs.
Monitor and celebrate progress, helping students achieve their goals.
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEND, particularly Autism and PMLD.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Creativity and flexibility to adapt approaches and resources to each student's needs.
