About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team in Rugby. In this role, you will be working closely with children who have a range of additional needs, providing tailored support to help them flourish both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN
Assist with delivering personalised learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher
Help students develop social skills, communication, and confidence
Support students with their learning in various subjects
Promote inclusion and create a positive, supportive classroom environment
Assist with personal care and well-being where required
About You:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable, but not essential
Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to supporting children's individual needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children, staff, and parents
A keen interest in education and helping children reach their potential
Ability to work as part of a supportive team in a school environment
