About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team in Coventry. In this role, you will work directly with students who have a range of additional needs, providing tailored support that enables them to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to support their learning
Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans for students with SEN
Support students with a range of tasks, including academic work and social skills development
Help create an inclusive, engaging, and positive classroom environment
Collaborate with the class teacher and other staff to monitor and track student progress
Assist with personal care and well-being needs, as required
About You:
Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
A genuine passion for education and helping children reach their full potential
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a school setting
