We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Nuneaton. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with complex needs, including physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
Assist with the delivery of personalized learning plans and adaptations to meet individual needs.
Support students with daily routines and personal care where required, fostering independence and confidence.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and encouraged to succeed.
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to monitor progress and provide tailored support.
Assist with the development and implementation of intervention programs to enhance learning outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly complex needs.
A strong understanding of child development and SEN strategies.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support children in their learning journey.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A flexible, proactive approach to challenges.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, Team-Teach training) would be an advantage but are not essential.
