Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to primary-aged children with SEND, adapting your approach to meet their individual needs.
Work with children facing challenges such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and communication challenges, offering tailored support to help them thrive.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENDCo to create and implement personalised learning plans, targeted interventions, and behaviour strategies that best support the children.
Use creative, sensory, and play-based activities to help students engage with their learning in a way that suits their individual needs.
Foster positive behaviour, emotional regulation, self-confidence, and independence to help students grow both academically and personally.
Build strong partnerships with families, staff, and external professionals to ensure all students receive the most effective and holistic support.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience working with SEND students, ideally in a primary or specialist school (but we also welcome applicants with care sector or residential experience).
A patient, kind, resilient, and enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to supporting children in their learning journey.
Someone who is skilled in building trusting relationships with students who require extra support and structure.
A true team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and ensuring the overall wellbeing of all students.
Must be able to provide professional references and either hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check.

Additional Information:
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with both full-time and part-time options available.
