Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Year 1) - Bolton Primary SchoolAspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil at a welcoming primary school in Bolton, starting 23rd March.
This rewarding role involves supporting a lovely young boy who can present with some challenging behaviour at times.
The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and confident in managing behaviour positively while building a strong, trusting relationship.
Despite his challenges, he is a pleasure to work with and responds well to consistent support and encouragement.
Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Year 1) Role responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 classroom support
* Supporting behaviour management using positive strategies
* Encouraging engagement with learning activities
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment
Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Year 1) The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience working with children (school or similar setting)
* Experience supporting challenging behaviour (preferred)
* A calm, patient and positive approach
* Strong communication skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children's development
