Are you passionate about supporting children with complex needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, communication difficulties, sensory processing needs, and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)? Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join a warm and specialist primary SEND school in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area.

About the Role
As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a wide range of needs. Every day will be different, and you'll be part of a team committed to helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with complex learning needs on a 1:1 or small-group basis
* Assisting with communication, sensory and behavioural support strategies
* Providing personal care when required (e.g., toileting, feeding, dressing)
* Helping deliver tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
* Creating a positive, engaging and supportive classroom environment
* Using initiative to support pupils during challenging moments
* Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children

Essential Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND, either in schools, care or similar settings
* A positive, resilient and enthusiastic approach to working with children
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Reliability and commitment-especially with an ASAP start
