Job Title: SEN Support Worker

As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to children with SEN or ASD. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
-Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN or ASD, assisting with daily activities and routines.
-Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes learning, independence, and social interaction.
-Implement individualized support plans, ensuring that the specific needs and preferences of each child are met.
-Monitor and assess the progress of children, reporting any concerns or developments to the appropriate team members.
-Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create comprehensive support strategies.
-Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
-Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in supporting children with SEN or ASD.

*Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Care or a related field.
*Previous experience working with children with SEN or ASD is essential.
*Understanding of SEN and ASD, including common challenges and effective support strategies.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with SEN or ASD.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
*Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of children and the environment.
