Job description
Are you an experienced and qualified SEND Teacher looking for your next teaching post? Do you have experience teaching students with a range of SEND & SEMH needs?I am currently recruiting for a SEND teacher for a small independent school in Hull servicing pupils from 9 to 18 years old. The post is initially a temporary position but on-going.
As a teacher you will be involved in the marking and planning of lessons. You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and passionate, being able to think outside of the box and have the ability to change your teaching methods to suit individual needs is critical.
The school caters for students who cannot access mainstream education, many of the students have either Autism, Aspergers or SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management is essential and you must have the patience to deal with challenging behaviour at times.
