Job description
Aspire People are recruiting for talented SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive specialist school in Bedford.The school caters to learners aged 4 to 19 years with Profound, Multiple or Complex Learning Needs alongside learners with Autism and Communication Challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in a structured and nurturing environment.
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who want to make a positive impact on the lives of young students.
What will you be doing?
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and Communication needs
* Assist in creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
* Support students with their daily routines, communication, and social interactions
What do we need from you?
* Experience working with children or young people with ASD or Social Communication difficulties
* A calm, proactive approach with strong communication skills
* A positive "can-do" attitude and ability to adapt to students' needs
