Exciting Opportunity: SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary Students with Complex Needs.Location: Northampton

We're looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team in Northampton. You'll be working with bright, energetic primary school students who have a variety of complex needs, including learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, and more. Every day will bring something new, and you'll play a key role in helping our students achieve their best, both academically and personally.
What You'll Be Doing:
Making Learning Fun: Help create an engaging and inclusive classroom experience for students with complex needs.
One-to-One & Small Group Support: Work directly with students to support them in the classroom, ensuring they can access and enjoy their lessons.
Personalized Care: Assist with personal care and help students with mobility and daily routines where needed.
Building Confidence: Support students in developing social and emotional skills, boosting their confidence and independence.
Teamwork: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each child gets the best support possible.
Managing Behaviour: Be a calming influence and help create strategies for managing challenging behaviours in a positive way.
Who We're Looking For:
You're Passionate: You care about children and want to help them succeed, no matter what challenges they face.
You've Got the Skills: Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND or complex needs, is ideal. But don't worry if you don't have all the experience - if you're keen to learn and develop, we'll support you every step of the way!
You're a Team Player: You love working with others and thrive in a supportive environment.
You're Patient & Creative: Every day is different, so you'll need to be flexible, patient, and creative in finding new ways to engage and support students.
Bonus Points for a Qualification: If you have a background in education, childcare, or special needs, that's great! But it's not a deal-breaker.
