Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you have the patience, creativity, and dedication to support a primary-aged child with special educational needs in a mainstream school? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant!
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming mainstream primary school in Kettering, helping a child with complex needs to thrive in their education and social development. Personalized Learning: Adapt and support lesson plans to meet your student's specific needs and learning style.
Building Confidence: Encourage independence, social skills, and emotional development, making sure the child feels included and valued within the classroom.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the class teacher, other support staff, and parents to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to the child's learning and well-being.
Supporting Behaviour and Well-being: Help manage any challenging behaviours with positive strategies and create a calm, supportive environment.

Patience & Creativity: You're patient, creative, and adaptable, and you're happy to think outside the box to find ways to support the child's learning and emotional needs.
Experience is Great: If you have experience working with children with SEND, especially in a 1:1 setting, that's fantastic! But if not, we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
Team Player: You're a great communicator who loves working as part of a team, and you're always ready to lend a helping hand.
Bonus Points for Relevant Qualifications: If you have a qualification in education, SEND, or childcare, that's a plus, but it's not essential.
What's In It for You:
A Fun & Supportive Team: Work in a welcoming, friendly school environment where everyone is passionate about supporting students and each other.
Ongoing Training: You'll have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge with training sessions and professional development.
Making a Difference: This is a highly rewarding role where you'll see the direct impact of your support on a child's progress and happiness.
Competitive Pay & Benefits: Enjoy a competitive salary and great benefits, all while doing a job that truly matters.
