Position: Teaching Assistant (Secondary)Location: Warwick, Warwickshire
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP or from January 2026
Are you passionate about supporting young people in their learning journey? Do you have experience working with secondary-aged students and want to make a positive impact in a thriving school environment? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in Warwick and support our secondary-aged students.
The school believes every student deserves the best possible support to reach their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in helping students achieve academic success, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for the future.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally in a classroom or educational setting.
A patient, proactive, and positive approach to supporting students, particularly those who may need additional help with their learning.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A keen interest in education and a desire to support students' emotional and academic development.
Ideally, a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), though this is not essential.

Your Role:
Provide in-class support to secondary-aged students, helping them engage with lessons, complete tasks, and improve their understanding.
Assist students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed.
Support the teacher in planning and preparing learning materials and activities.
Help students with behavioural and emotional challenges, promoting a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Work with small groups of students or on a 1:1 basis as needed, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
