Job description
I am recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant in the Rugby area.The school is a 3 form entry school situated in the heart of a very close nit community.
Do you have SEN experience?
Have you worked 1.1 with very challenging behavior
Are you thick skinned
Can you demonstrate the skill and patience to work with children with additional needs
This is by no means a easy role, you will be tested and challenged on a daily basis. No two days will be the same. The child in question needs someone who is willing to commit and not give up at the first hurdle.
The role itself will be a mix of in-class and out of class 1:1 support including outside learning. The child has speech and language difficulties and SEMH difficulties and experiences anxiety connected with coming to school. they can sometimes dysregulate and this shows in their behaviour.
