Job descriptionAspire People are seeking a SEN teaching assistant to work as part of a strong EYFS team at a school based in Sandwell, this role is an immediate start and required ASAP.
The school I am recruiting for are looking for a Teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child who has behaviour difficulties. The ideal candidate would have a passion for early Years and a good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
To apply for this role, you will need to have a teaching assistant qualification and have an understand of the current EYFS curriculum. Experience with tapestry is beneficial however not essential.

As a full time, member of staff, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
*Support a child 1:1 within a reception class environment
*Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
*Knowledge of Tapestry would be beneficial (not essential)
*Assess the child's progress and development
*Ensure the child has good access to the curriculum
*Support the child with SEMH development
*Support the class teacher within the class
*Liaise with staff & parents regarding the child's progress and EHCP plan
