1:1 SEN Primary Teaching AssistantLocation: Coalville
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (school hours)
Full-time: 5 days a week
Aspire People are excited to recruit a dedicated 1:1 SEN Primary Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a child with special educational needs, offering tailored support to help them thrive in the classroom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a primary-aged child, assisting them with both academic and social-emotional development. You will be working in a nurturing and inclusive environment where you can make a real difference to the child's learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a child with special educational needs, helping them engage with lessons, tasks, and activities.
Collaborate with the class teacher to implement individualized learning plans and support strategies.
Offer support in managing social, emotional, and behavioral needs, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist the child with personal care needs where necessary, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Keep track of the child's progress, documenting and reporting where required.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working with primary school children, particularly those with special educational needs.
Experience supporting children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.
Patient, caring, and empathetic approach to working with children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team.
A passion for supporting children's development and ensuring they reach their full potential.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (school hours).
