1:1 SEN Primary Teaching AssistantLocation: Hinckley
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (school hours)
Full-time: 5 days a week
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs in a primary school in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant who is passionate about providing tailored support to students with SEN.
The role will involve working closely with a child on a 1:1 basis to help them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary school children, particularly those with special educational needs, and will be able to provide compassionate and focused support throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to a primary school child with special educational needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and classroom activities.
Work closely with the class teacher to implement learning plans and assist with any tailored interventions.
Support the child with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment.
Assist the child with personal care needs as required, ensuring their well-being throughout the school day.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to the teaching staff and parents where necessary.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working with primary school children, particularly those with special educational needs.
Knowledge of supporting children with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, in line with standard school hours.
