SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Leicester
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Full-time: 5 days a week
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a special needs school in Leicester. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students aged 4-16 with varying abilities and needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with challenging behaviors and will be confident in adapting their approach to suit individual learning styles.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, and behavioral needs.
Assist with both 1:1 and group activities, helping students achieve their individual learning goals.
Work closely with the teaching staff to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
Encourage and support students in their social and emotional development, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide personal care assistance as required, ensuring the well-being of the children.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviors.
A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to providing high-quality support to students and a passion for making a difference in their education and development.
