🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - Nottingham 🌟Pay: £95 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Derby & Derbyshire
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Aspire People are recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs across some of our Ofsted "Outstanding" primary and specialist schools in Derby and Derbyshire.
We're looking for caring individuals who are committed to helping every child reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
🌈 The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language, or physical disabilities)
Provide one-to-one or small group support to help children engage and progress
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
💡 About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting children with special educational needs
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to meet individual pupil needs
Experienced working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
Qualified with a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
