Job description
Are you a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant? We are looking for passionate and skilled individuals to join our team in Nottingham, supporting children with Autism and ADHD.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with autism and ADHD.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Support students with their academic and social development.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Work closely with other teaching assistants and staff to ensure the needs of each child are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Proven experience supporting children with autism and ADHD.
- Strong understanding of SEN and a compassionate approach to working with children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
- A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
