Aspire People are looking for an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leicester (LE7). If you have hands-on experience working with SEN students within the UK education system and are passionate about supporting young learners, this is the perfect role for you.
About the Role:
Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs in the classroom.
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning experiences that meet the needs of SEN students.
Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that empowers every child.
Work with a team of staff to implement strategies that support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Assist with behaviour management and provide additional support to students who require it.
Be proactive in monitoring student progress and adapting your approach to suit individual needs.
What We Need:
Proven experience working with SEN students within UK schools is essential.
Understanding of various SEN needs, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and work as part of a team.
