Job description
I am looking for a Level 3 teaching Assistant with an SEN background for a 2 form entry school in Castle Bromwich to work 1-1 with a Y3 child with a range of special educational needs. The child has a range of issues including ASD and struggles to integrate into the classroom. Certain situations can trigger so behavioural issues and the ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to recognise when situations are arising and remove the child from the environment for time out. This role is starting as mornings only but hours may increase as the child becomes familiar and comfortable with the school day.The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a patient and calm approach, whilst setting boundaries and enforcing them where necessary.
Teaching Assistants will be required to have the following:
-Experienced with children with special educational needs
-NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education
-Calm and caring approach
