The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and adapting lessons for a diverse group of children with complex needs, ensuring each child receives a personalised approach to learning. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering trust and respect
Provide regular feedback to parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being
Support students in building communication, social, and life skills through targeted interventions
Contribute to the development of the school's SEND provision and help create a positive, inclusive school culture
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience working with primary-aged students with complex SEN, particularly in a SEND setting
A solid understanding of the range of complex needs children may present, including communication difficulties, sensory needs, and physical disabilities
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to working with parents, carers, and professionals
A commitment to continuous professional development in the field of SEND education
A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and adapting teaching strategies
What We Offer:
A supportive and inclusive work environment with a strong, committed team
Tailored professional development opportunities and training in SEND teaching methods
Competitive salary and benefits package
A well-resourced school with modern facilities to support teaching and learning
The chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs
If you are passionate about making a lasting impact in the lives of children with complex SEN and are eager to work in a school that celebrates individuality and diversity, we'd love to receive your application!
