SEN Teacher - LewishamCompany: Aspire People Limited
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students with a range of special educational needs, supporting them to access learning, build confidence, and make meaningful academic and social progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students with a range of special educational needs.
* Develop and implement individual learning plans aligned with EHCP targets.
* Support students with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties.
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO, and external professionals to support student development.
* Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
* Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement and independence.
Requirements:
* QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs in a school setting.
* Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated learning.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
