Aspire People are recruiting for a Primary SEN Teacher to work in a supportive primary school in B34, starting April 2026. This role involves teaching pupils with complex needs and delivering a tailored, engaging curriculum to support their learning, communication, and personal development.
Key responsibilities:
Planning and delivering lessons for pupils with complex SEN
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Creating a structured, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and the wider SEN team
Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience teaching primary-aged pupils with complex SEN
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
Be patient, flexible, and highly supportive
Be confident leading a class and working with a team of support staff
Be committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
Location: B34
Start Date: April 2026
