About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Lutterworth. This role involves providing essential support to children with a variety of additional needs, helping them succeed both academically and socially within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
Assist in the development and delivery of individualised learning plans for students with SEN
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that helps all children thrive
Work closely with the class teacher to monitor and track student progress
Support students with their personal care and well-being as needed
Encourage the development of social and communication skills in a supportive setting
About You:
Previous experience working with children with SEN is beneficial, but not essential
A patient, kind, and proactive approach to supporting children's needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping children succeed
Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each student in a dynamic classroom setting
