Job description
Aspire is seeking an inspiring and resilient Science SEN Teacher to work within a specialist education setting in Kidderminster.This role is ideal for a Science teacher who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to delivering creative, accessible lessons that build confidence and achievement.
The Role
As a Science SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and MLD
Support students with EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
Promote positive behaviour through consistency and structure
Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
Create a classroom culture built on encouragement, patience, and progress
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Holds QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Has experience teaching Science at secondary level
Understands inclusive teaching strategies and SEN best practice
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
Is calm, empathetic, and committed to making a difference
