We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in both specialist and mainstream schools in Shrewsbury.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with varying needs, helping them to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional needs.
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.
* Support students in their academic and social development, both inside and outside the classroom.
* Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt lessons and learning materials to meet the needs of students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN, is highly desirable.
* A relevant qualification in education or childcare is advantageous but not essential.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
