Are you an experienced SEN Learning Mentor looking for a new challenge?
I am currently recruiting for a large special school based in Staffordshire that are seeking to appoint two new SEN Learning Mentors to join their team. The positions are on a long term basis with a view to go permanent for the right people. The school are seeking Level 3 qualified with a minimum of 12 months experience working within a SEN School.
As a Learning Mentor you will be working alongside the Class Teacher and supporting pupils with everyday school life, this maybe 1-2-1 or in group work. You will be a source of support for pupils with severe and complex needs and will ensure they are motivated, happy, engaged and safe.
The school is a very large school which caters for children with a wide range of disabilities including ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and global delay. The school caters for pupils aged 2-25.
The successful candidate will bring at least 1 years of experience to the role and a desire to work with children with SEN. You will be empathetic and determined to make a difference.
