SEMH Teaching Assistant - Kings NortonFull Time - Start ASAP
Pay Rate: £88.94-£105.00 per day

Aspire People is looking for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a specialist provision in Kings Norton. This full‑time role is available immediately, offering a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Role Overview
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support within an SEMH setting
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour support
Help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learning
Build strong, trusting relationships with students
Support with EHCP targets and behaviour plans
Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
What We're Looking For
Experience working with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or SEN
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
