Job description
Are you an experienced, fully qualified Science Teacher based in Lincolnshire?I am currently recruiting for Science Teacher to teach in a Secondary School in Stamford. The role will be full permanent position starting in January 2024.
About Our Client School:
This school is an independent 11-16 academy serving young people from four counties, Rutland, Lincs, Northants and Leics. It has been the highest performing school in Rutland and Stamford for many years.
The role:
- Plan and prepare high quality lessons that ensure all ability groups make at least good progress.
- Teach a range of scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Assess progress and provide appropriate feedback. Maintain and update accurate records of student progress.
- Uphold the values of the college. i.e. ability is not fixed
- Maintain the highest standards of professional appearance, integrity and honesty
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum requirements across multiple disciplines.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students through engaging and interactive lessons.
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements.
