Are you a qualified Science Teacher up to GCSE Level who is interested in working with children with special educational needs?
Ann-Marie the North Birmingham Consult is currently recruiting for a qualified Science teacher, for a Special Secondary school based in North Birmingham . The role is 3 dpw Starting from January 2020 - July2020 with full planning commitments. You will be supporting 5 pupils in the class with Visual impairments and some mild learning difficulties at GCSE and entry level.
The school has a friendly and welcoming feel, It also has clear behaviour strategies and a great focus on the progression of both students and staff. Some of the pupils you will support may have additional learning needs such as mild learning difficulties and visual impairments.
The ideal English teacher will have:
*Have a QTS
*Have a degree in Science
*Experience of teaching English for KS3 and KS4
*Interested in SEN
*Have a real passion for teaching
*Have a valid and clear DBS that is registered with the update service
This role is an excellent opportunity to help develop your skills in teaching. You will not only get support from the school, but also from the staff at Aspire People.
