Job Title: Secondary Science TeacherLocation: Wolverhampton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
Salary: £90 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4), delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and helping students build a strong foundation in the sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging Science lessons to secondary school students.
Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and encourage curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the Science curriculum and share best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve success in Science.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
Available to start immediately.
