Job Title: Secondary Science TeacherLocation: Redditch
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
Salary: £90 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive secondary school team in Redditch. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 & KS4) by delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific principles and their real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to secondary school students.
Inspire students to develop a passion for Science and foster their curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and independent learning.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
Passionate about teaching Science and helping students achieve their potential.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster an engaging, positive learning environment.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Available to start immediately.
