Science TeacherShort-term (January start - February Half Term)
January 2025 until February Half Term
About the Role:
Aspire People are seeking an experienced and versatile Science Teacher to join our partner schools for a short-term placement starting in January 2025. This role is ideal for a strong all-round educator with excellent behaviour management, teaching, and planning skills. The ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons across all areas of Science is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who can adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
* Provide effective and structured planning to ensure continuity of learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level.
* Strong behaviour management, teaching, and planning skills.
* A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
* Ability to provide professional references covering the last 2 years for a quick turnaround.
