Job description
Are you an experienced school caretaker seeking a new opportunity in Stoke-on-Trent from September 2021?Aspire People are having a large recruitment drive for experienced and reliable school caretakers to work in primary, secondary and SEN schools across Stoke-on-Trent, supporting the site team in carrying out day to day general maintenance of the school. The roles we have are a mixture of full time and part time, temporary and temp to perm. We work with schools who have different needs so we are recruiting school caretakers who are flexible and are readily available for work from August and September 2021.
Candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for a new one.
As a full time school caretaker, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so you will be expected to:
« Carry out general maintenance of the school as well as litter picking
« Carry out odd jobs delegated to you by the Site Manager n
« Open and close the school building
« Work independently and as a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
« Set alarms
You will be supported by me, James Kearney. I am Aspire People's Senior Office & Technical consultant and have been supplying non-teaching staff to schools in Stoke-on-Trent for the past 5 years. Whether it is temporary or permanent work that you are looking for, then I will be able to assist you. I offer excellent rates of pay and I will be on hand to offer support throughout assignments.
