Aspire People is dedicated to providing high-quality staffing solutions for schools across the Midlands. We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker to join a vibrant school community in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the school's premises, ensuring they are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Conduct regular inspections of the buildings and grounds, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
Oversee the security of the school premises, including locking and unlocking the buildings as required.
Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for school events and activities.
Manage and coordinate any necessary repairs, liaising with external contractors when needed.
Support the school staff in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for students and visitors.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within a school environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, staff, and visitors.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
A commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students.
