Aspire People is looking for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our team at a vibrant school in West Bromwich. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and general building tasks.
Oversee the cleaning staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Manage security measures, including opening and closing the school as required.
Assist with setting up facilities for events and activities.
Carry out regular inspections of the grounds and facilities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong DIY skills and a basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Flexibility to work outside of regular hours when needed.
