Are you an experienced school caretaker seeking a new opportunity in Birmingham from June 2021?The school I am recruiting for is currently looking for an experienced school caretaker to work on an ongoing basis, supporting the site team in carrying out day to day general maintenance of the school. The role is full time and temporary to cover a long term absence from June 2021?
The successful applicant will be expected to work a shift pattern to ensure the opening and closing duties are shared amongst the site team. The site team is extremely supportive and you will have the opportunity to work in fantastic new build.
As a full time school caretaker, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so you will be expected to:
« Carry out general maintenance of the school as well as litter picking
« Carry out odd jobs delegated to you by the Site Manager n
« Open and close the school building
« Work independently and as a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
« Set alarms
