School Business Manager - Temporary (with potential to become permanent) | ManchesterAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join a popular secondary school in Manchester as a School Business Manager.
In this key role, you will oversee the financial, operational, and administrative management of the school, ensuring that day-to-day operations run efficiently. You will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to support the school's strategic vision and ongoing development.
This position requires a proactive, organised, and solution-focused professional who can play a central role in supporting the effective running of the school.
Business Manager - The Role
* Temporary position with the potential to become permanent
* 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Full-time equivalent salary: £47,181 per annum
* 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Business Manager - Key Responsibilities
* Managing school finances and budgets
* Overseeing cover arrangements and staff absences
* Estate and facilities management
* Supporting HR processes and staff administration
* Ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of school operations

Ideally, candidates will have experience in:
* A School Business Manager or similar operational role
* School finance and budget management
