Job description
Are you a talented School Business Manager currently seeking a new opportunity in Birmingahm?Aspire People are working closely with a school who is recruiting a Business Manager to work on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will have strong experience working as a School Business Manager, or within a senior finance related position within education. The school is looking for somebody who has the drive and ambition to aid the school in achieving outstanding status by 2023. The salary on offer is between £40k-£45k for the full time position of 37 hours a week, all year.
As a full time Business Manager, you will be expected to
«Attend Senior Management/Leadership Team, full Governing Body and appropriate Governors' sub-committee meetings
«Negotiate and influence strategic decision making within the school's Senior Management/Leadership Team
«In the absence of the Head Teacher, take delegated responsibility for Financial and other decisions
«Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development/strategic plan.
«To lead and manage all school support staff
You will be supported by me, Georgina Longhorne. I am Aspire People's Office & Technical consultant for the Staffordshire and Derbyshire areas.
