Supply Class Teacher - Day-to-Day CoverRole: Primary Class Teacher
Location: Peterborough (PE8)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Ad-hoc / Day-to-Day Supply
Pay: £150 - 180 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a qualified primary teacher looking for flexible supply work within a supportive Primary School setting?
Aspire People are working with a welcoming school in Wisbech who are seeking a committed and adaptable Class Teacher to provide day-to-day cover on a supply basis. This opportunity is ideal for ECTs looking to broaden their experience, as well as experienced teachers who want flexibility and the opportunity to focus on delivering high-quality lessons.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across EYFS - KS2
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning needs
* Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
* Provide clear feedback at the end of each day
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* A proven track record of high-quality teaching
* The ability to build strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
* A clear commitment to equal opportunities and inclusive practice
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also using their own initiative
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Confidence in meeting a variety of needs and managing challenging behaviour where required
* High aspirations for themselves and all learners
* Excellent communication skills
* Patience and a good sense of humour
* Proven competency in English and Maths
