Job Role: QTS English Teacher for a Secondary School in StaffordAspire People is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Qualified English Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Stafford. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to inspiring students and promoting a love for English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set targets for improvement.
Support students with varying abilities, ensuring that all learners reach their potential.
Maintain high standards of behavior and classroom management.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
A valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in English or a related subject.
Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential).
A genuine passion for English and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
