Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to make a positive impact in education? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology graduates to join our team as Teaching Assistants at a 'Good' rated school in Haringey. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your psychological knowledge in a practical setting, supporting students' academic and emotional development.Responsibilities
- Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- One-on-One Support: Provide individual support to students who require additional help.
- Behavior Management: Implement strategies to support positive behavior and manage challenging behavior.
- Emotional and Social Support: Use your psychological knowledge to support students' well-being and social skills.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with classroom preparation, marking, and record-keeping.
- Inclusive Learning: Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum fully.
Requirements
- Education: A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Passion for Education: A strong desire to work in education and make a difference in students' lives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
