Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children, helping them develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence.

Supporting students with emotional, physical, or behavioral needs, ensuring a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Assisting in classroom behavior management, applying positive reinforcement techniques and maintaining a calm, focused learning environment.

Collaborating with external specialists and the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support personalised learning goals for students.

Working with the wider school team to foster a supportive and inclusive school culture.

The Ideal Candidate:

A good understanding of learning difficulties and disabilities and the ability to implement strategies to support individual learning needs.

Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with the class teacher, SENCo, and other professionals in the school.

Enthusiastic and committed to making a difference in the educational journey of every child.

Experience or training in behavior management techniques, communication strategies (e.g., Makaton), or supporting students with autism or learning disabilities (desirable but not essential).

A positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to an inclusive school community.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting young children's education and looking to make a real impact in their development. If you are dedicated, empathetic, and ready to play a key role in a nurturing school environment, we would love to hear from you!
