Job description
Do you have care experience looking for a new role in schools?Aspire People are currently seeking bathroom support staff to provide personal care to students for a Special Needs school in the Erdington area.
All children have learning difficulties, some with profound and life limiting illnesses. They require dedicated and caring bathroom assistants to provide personal care for the children whilst at school. You will need to be positive and lively and able to work as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you will need a calm and empathetic nature, a resilient personality and be able to use your own initiative; health and safety procedures and the welfare of the children are paramount.
Previous experience is advantageous, as the role will require patience and a high level of understanding to support the complex needs of these children. However, if you have a passion and desire to help and support children with additional needs, but no experience, we are happy to consider your application on an individual basis.
