Position: EYFS Playworker
Hours: Part-Time (Before and After School Club hours)
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Playworker to join a friendly and supportive team in a Before and After School Club in Shirley, Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual with an Early Years qualification and previous experience working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality play and learning opportunities for children in the EYFS age group.
* Support children's emotional, social, and developmental needs during before and after school sessions.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can explore and develop.
* Ensure that all activities are engaging, educational, and appropriate to the children's age and abilities.
* Maintain clear communication with parents and carers to ensure their child's well-being and progress.
* Comply with safeguarding and health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* An Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in the EYFS or in a similar childcare setting.
* A DBS on the Update Service is required.
* Passionate about supporting children's development and learning.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, engaging approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
