Job description
Are you an enthusiastic PE teacher in Birmingham who sets their standards high?We are recruiting for qualified P.E. teacher who is confident in their ability. This full-time job is starting from September and requires someone with the ability to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 students. The role is due to finish at the end of the academic year in 2023. The school is part of a close community and trust which is striving to be one of the top schools in Birmingham.
As an agency we have been working closely with this school for over 2 years and have built an excellent relationship. The most recent member of staff who left the school told us "The SLT are supportive and are always on hand." The school have clear visions and have great facilities. Whether you become part of the team for day to day or long term work you will be made to feel welcome and part of the team straight away.
As a full-time P.E. teacher, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff meaning that the following is expected:
*Confidently teach all secondary school age groups
*Assess, Mark and Plan lessons
*Assess achievement of pupils
*Have strong knowledge on the subject curriculum
*Attend parent's evenings and department meetings
*Meetings requirements for the assessment and recordings of pupil development
