Nutrition Specialist - Secondary School - Preston - September/October 2024 StartAre you passionate about nutrition and keen to make a difference in the lives of young people? If so, we are looking for a Nutrition Specialist to join our team at a secondary school in Preston, starting in September or after the October half-term 2024.
Position: Nutrition Specialist

As a Nutrition Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the standard of living for our students by providing expert advice on nutrition and leading input in lessons. You will work closely with our Food Technology department, sharing your knowledge to help students understand the importance of healthy eating and the role it plays in their overall well-being and future.
Main Responsibilities:
Delivering expert advice on nutrition to students across all year groups
Leading and contributing to Food Technology lessons with a focus on healthy living and nutritional education
Developing engaging and informative resources to support the curriculum
Collaborating with teachers to integrate nutrition education into various subjects
Promoting the importance of nutrition and healthy eating within the school community

What We're Looking For:
A qualification in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
